Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Shaved steak

  • Beituti Shawarma Marinade

  • 1 cup of Quinoa

  • Olive oil

  • 2 cups of Water

  • 1 tsp of Salt

  • Onions (for sumac onions)

  • Sumac (for sumac onions)

  • Tomatoes (chopped)

  • Parsley

  • Beef tallow (optional, for searing)

  • Lemon Tahini Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the shaved steak with Beituti Shawarma Marinade

  2. Rinse the quinoa, toast in olive oil, then add 2 cups water + 1 tsp salt. Cover & simmer for 15 mins.

  3. While quinoa cooks, prep toppings: sumac onions, chopped tomatoes, parsley.

  4. Sear steak on a hot griddle (beef tallow = extra richness).
